1. Description of Service
NextPlay is a sports management and statistics tracking platform that allows users to record, manage, and share athletic performance data. Key features include voice-driven data entry, AI-assisted statistics extraction from images and audio, team and player management, and public/live game sharing.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create your own account and use the Service directly. If you are under 13, you may only use the Service through a Guardian Profile. If you are under 18, you may use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
3. User Accounts & Access
To access most features, you must create an account via third-party authentication (e.g., Google). Certain features, such as Delegated Live Reporting, may be accessed using a specific code without an account. You are responsible for your conduct and maintaining account confidentiality.
4. AI-Powered Statistics Extraction
The Service includes features that use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to extract statistics from images and transcribe audio.
- Accuracy Disclaimer: AI technology is not perfect. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy or reliability of extracted data.
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any data before relying on it.
- No Model Training: We do not use your personal inputs or data to train or refine our underlying AI models.
5. User Content and Conduct
- You retain all ownership rights in your User Content (images, data, text).
- You grant NextPlay a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Service.
- Prohibited content includes anything illegal, harmful, or that violates others' privacy/IP rights.
- You may only claim player profiles that belong to you or a minor for whom you are the legal guardian. Impersonation is strictly prohibited.
6. Privacy and Player Data
NextPlay uses pseudonyms and avatars to protect player privacy in publicly shared games. If you are a coach, you represent that you have obtained necessary consents before uploading player data.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Payments are processed via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or specified in a refund policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextPlay shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including reliance on incorrect AI-generated data.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
